The highest altitude fitness class is 6,036 m (19,803 ft) and was achieved by Tim Megginson, Thomas Kynaston, Ryan Creak, Matthew Luxton (all UK), James Doyle (Australia), Shahram Fasihy (Canada), Viktoria Wiberg, Jim Runesson (both Sweden) and Dawa Pun (Nepal), at the Mera Peak High Camp, Nepal, on 9 October 2022.


All participants completed months of physical training in preparation for the attempt. As part of the 30-minute class they performed push-ups, squats and planks.
