The farthest distance covered by a quadruped robot is 134.03 km (83.28 miles) and was achieved by Xingzhe No.1 robot in Chongqing, China from 24 to 27 October 2015. Xingzhe No.1 was created by Li Qingdu (China) and his team from the College of Automation at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications.


Within 54 hours 34 minutes, the robot completed 1,405 laps with each lap measuring 95.39 meters.
