The largest marble tile mosaic (image) is 2,198.70 m² (23,666 ft² 87 in²), and was achieved by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) & BrandDubai (both UAE) in Hatta, UAE on 7 December 2023.

The world’s largest marble tile mosaic portrait in memory of the founders of the United Arab Emirates, the late H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, First President of the U.A.E., Ruler of Abu Dhabi & late H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Vice President of the U.A.E., Prime Minister & Ruler of Dubai, may Allah rest their souls in peace. The artwork was made on a total area of 2198.70 square meters using more than 1 million pieces of marble tile mosaic on the Spillway of the Hatta Dam Sustainable Waterfalls front as part of the Hatta Development & Eco-Tourism Project. The Hatta Sustainable Waterfalls Project features a combination of sustainability, heritage preservation, and economic growth, marking a significant milestone in Hatta’s journey towards becoming a distinctive and sought-after tourist destination in the Middle East.
