The oldest person to complete the IRONMAN® World Championship is Hiromu Inada (Japan), who was aged 85 years 328 days when he ran the 2018 Ironman in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, USA, on 13 October 2018.
Hiromu completed the course, which consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a 26.2 mile run, in 16 hr 53 min 49 sec.
