The fastest time to fly a hot air balloon in all 50 US states is 43 days 3 hours 11 minutes and was achieved by Andrew Holly (UK), over Hawaiʻi Island, Hawaii, USA, on 24 March 2016.

Andrew began his record-breaking balloon tour of the US in Louisiana. He flew in a lightweight balloon named G-UNKY, which has a volume of 50,000 cubic feet (1,415.84 cubic metres).
