The largest pinwheel display consists of 1,831,000 pinwheels and was achieved by Zhejiang Huajian Tourism Development Co. Ltd. (China) in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China, on 1 October 2019.
The pinwheels created a landscape featuring different patterns and images of things highlighting China's 56 ethnic groups, as well as images of animals, cars and other things. The pinwheels were being displayed for one month and then collected for recycling.
